Parental participation is welcomed and nothing is too hard, timekeeping is a breeze if you have a finger/thumb your can do it without any training or stress. If you would like to learn a new role let one of the committee know and we are more than willing to help you out.

Racing normally starts a 5pm with warm up between 4 and 4.45. The racing is run in a short course pool (25m) The cost is $5 for 3 swims and the event list is always published on the board during the week prior to the meet. Races rang from 25m to 400m depending on the squad the kids belong to.

Please come along and let the kids have a go at racing its a great sport and teaches lots of life lessons like dediciation, hard work training and determination pay off.

We look forward to seeing lots of new swimming faces. Talk to us at the meet if your child is interested in talking the next step and racing in local meets as we have some options to accomodate the beginners.

Swimzone Racing would like all swimmers to fill out a registration form so that their information can be input into our database. Times from the meets will be published for all registered swimmers.

Three swimmer catergories

1. Timezone only - $10 once off yearly registration fee is payable for this catergory of swimmer plus each time they pay a $5 entry fee.
2. Non-Competitive - swimmers in this catergory are able to enter local swim meets in events up to 50m. The yearly registration fee for this catergory of swimmer is $75 per swimmer.
3. Full Membership - Registrastion fee for the current year is $150 per swimmer. Of this $75 is paid to Swimming Wellington and Swimming New Zealand.
