BLUEBRIDGE - SNZ Regions, Clubs and HPC

SNZ has this week concluded an updated sponsorship agreement with Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferry.
Bluebridge has been reviewing its sponsorship arrangements to ensure that they are relevant to their business. Its relationship with SNZ is one of only a handful that they saw as an “automatic” decision to continue with.
Of particular relevance to regions and clubs are the discounted travel prices.

Bluebridge is providing us with these preferential rates for national, regional or club teams travelling to competition -
$38 per adult one way
$20 per child one way (as part of the agreement, anyone under 18 is considered a child)
$110 per car/ute/van one way

The terms and conditions for these preferential rates are –
the discount is not valid for travel between December 15th to January 15th inclusive
the Bluebridge SNZ discount is available to SNZ team and club members travelling to official events only. Any extra passengers and vehicles will be charged the standard Bluebridge fare applicable for the selected travel period.
payment is required at the time of booking
bookings are non-refundable, but free to transfer to another sailing within the discount offer period
bookings can be made by contacting Kirk Burgess - Bluebridge Bookings Coordinator on
0800-844-844 or kirkb@strait.co.nz
all other Bluebridge terms & conditions can be viewed on the website - www.bluebridge.co.nz

Each team/club booking organiser should have the following information ready to make booking easy
name of club/region/national squad
name of event travelling to
dates of travel
preferred sailing times (visit website for timetable)
number of adults (18+ years)
number of children (1 -17 years)
number and registration of vehicles

SNZ will recognise Bluebridge as “The Official Cook Strait Ferry Service of Swimming New Zealand” when we use their logo and mention them. I encourage you to do the same and to promote Bluebridge to your members.
As part of managing a sponsorship agreement I like to be able to provide feedback to the sponsor in the form of any publicity generated – this might be internal newsletters, articles in the media or directly from members. If you could forward to me anything that links your club or region, or in fact swimming in general, with Bluebridge then I’d be grateful. The more exposure and value we are seen to be providing back to Bluebridge the stronger the relationship with them will become.

Thanks for your help with this.
If you have any questions or issues then please contact me.

kind regards
