Does Wellington need a central HUB for aquatic sports like the ASB Sports Centre do you think a a new 50m pool to support swimmer development in Wellingtion is a great idea. We do and that is why we are asking you to read the attached information and if you feel the same forward on the postcard to the address recommended urgently to help convince the powers that be!

PLEASE NOTE:
NaeNae pool will not reopen next week as some tiles have popped up and needs to be emptied and fixed. There will be training on Monday and Friday for the Makos and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for Orcas as normal at Stokes Valley. Other squads get another weeks rest please no extras (even to play) at Stokes Valley please as there is not enough room to accomodate, if you want to get in the pool Huia is your best option. Enjoy your extra week off!

SWIMZONE LATEST RECORDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Congratulations to Tom England and Alex Pampalone who were selected for the The 2012 North Island RAGD Camp that was selected from XLR8 performances between November 1, 2011 to March 12, 2012 by swimmers aged 12-14 years during this time period. The swimmers must have competed at either NZ Juniors or NZ Age Group Champs if qualified. This camp targets the top 16 female and male swimmers between 12-14 years (age as of May 1, 2012) from North Island clubs/regions.

State Swimming NZ Division II Competition. Wow what a fantastic event and Swimzone Racing end up Number 1 in New Zealand and earn the title for Top New Zealand Development Club. Our boys ended up 2nd Overall and the girls 3rd Overall to combine to achieve first place with 1070 points.
